hmm, well this is an art site, so it's not like people are on here for an extended period of time, their either just posting or reading/viewing other artworks, a chatbox here might not see as much activity as say a roleplaying site where ppl are waiting for replies or brainstorming a bunch

This site isn't big. A "chatterbox" may help increase, or more importantly keep members on the site and coming back. It couldn't hurt.
